The J.S.Pons English LCE students went to the Institut Jean Vigo on Thursday, 22 January 2026 to watch « Looking for Eric ».

«Looking For Eric» is a british comedy-drama film that lasts 116mins. It is directed by Ken Loach. The film was released on 18 may 2009.

The film takes place in Manchester in England. The film is about friendship, football and personal problems.

The main character is Eric Bishop , a poor postman who got divorced. He has 3 children that he raises alone.

In my opinion , i really liked this film beacause it is emotional and funny.

My favourite scene is when Eric speaks with Eric Cantona because it gives good advice and hope.

We discovered the real problems of the life.
